Sunny UK pop scamp Lily Allen has announced complimentary sideshows before Splendour In The Grass.
For those who still want to hear Allen's cheerily bitchy pop tunes but don't want to pay the $300 or so for a half hour slot at Byron Bay's Splendour In The Grass, you'll get lucky at shows in Fremantle, Melbourne and Sydney.The grumpy lass is currently on a seemingly never-ending promotional tour of the US. Reports have emerged that Allen is unhappy about the hard slog, but she refuted claims of a breakdown to Us Weekly Magazine, saying "I am not falling apart at the seams, I am not suffering with exhaustion, I am not pregnant and I am not going to rehab."
She winds up the US tour at Tennessee's Bonnaroo Festival mid-June, then hits Glastonbury before visiting us. Allen will be supported on all shows by Melbourne's cerebral hip-hop chick Macromantics. Tickets go on sale April 30.
