Virtually all tickets to this year's Glastonbury festival have been sold after 20,000 extra tickets were snapped up within two hours on Sunday morning.
Tickets to this year's event were originally sold via a ballot format, with the initial lot of 137,500 selling out within 90 minutes several weeks ago. Thousands of punters will again miss out on the event, which returns after taking a break in 2006.An extremely limited number of returned coach-ticket packages will go on sale 9am Thursday morning through seetickets, representing the last chance for concertgoers wishing to attend the massive festival.
Whilst the official line-up will be released on June 1, it is expected that The Who will be headlining this year's event, along with The Killers and Arctic Monkeys. Other likely performers include Lily Allen, Hot Chip, Kaiser Chiefs, Kasabian, Scissor Sisters, Chemical Brothers, Eric Clapton, Madness and The Kooks.
