Kiwi indie faves Cut Off Your Hands prepare the first single from their second album and hook up an Australian visit.
The New Zealand trio got much love for their 2008 debut You And I and they’re finally back with album number two, a new single, and an Australian tour.
The new album is going to be called Hollow and is coming our way in July from Speak N Spell via Inertia.
First single ‘You Should Do Better’ is ready to go, and you can give it a listen at Under The Radar here.
During their self-imposed exile over the last couple of years (following international tours from the UK to Japan to Iceland), they reinvented their sound.
Apparently they’re calmed their spiky post-punk for a more charming, sensitive indie pop sound that they’re comparing to The Go-Betweens and The Triffids.
They’ll bring the Hollow sounds for a quick visit to Australia in June before the release of the album.
