Hawaiian crooner Don Ho has died at the age of 76.
Ho died on Saturday morning from heart failure in his Waikiki home after several years of heart problems, according to his publicist.Reuters reports that he traveled to Thailand in 2005 for an "experimental stem cell procedure" to strengthen his heart.
Ho got his start by singing in his parents club in the early 60s before finally scoring a hit outside of Hawaii with 'Tiny Bubbles' in 1966.
He still performed in Waikiki a number of times every week.
