After 40 years of silence, forgotten Beatle Pete Best wants to reunite with Paul McCartney for a long-overdue catch up.
Best was infamously sacked in the Liverpool office of manager Brian Epstein just as the Beatles were on the verge of global domination, and was replaced by Ringo Starr.Whilst Best admitted to Britain's 'Daily Mail' that the past 40 years have been clouded by feelings of disgruntlement, he says he's now ready to bury the hatchet.
"We're not getting any younger," he said. "We know what we've done and we're not going to think any worse of each other if we had a chat now. God bless us all: it was all 40-odd years ago."
