A Detroit court has arranged a "truce" between Marshall Mathers and (twice) ex-wife Kim.
It's seemed for a long while that the only thing the world's biggest white rapper Eminem was releasing to the public were tirades against his ex-ex-wife Kim. Now Marshall has filed a motion requesting the verbal truce, for the benefit of their daughter Hailie Jade, after Kim spoke publicly about their second divorce.Of course Kim (of Eminem's "Rot In Pieces Kim" tattoo) took pains to have a swipe at her ex while responding to the court order, again referring to the lyrics in his track 'Kim'. The Detroit News reported that her response included the gripe, "It appears (Eminem) was not so concerned at the time he wrote these lyrics of how a gruesome and detailed account of how he was going to murder her mother would affect the minor child."
Regardless, the two met in court on Monday March 26 (Eminem via teleconference) and co-signed a parental cooperation order prohibiting either from making negative remarks in public. But does this mean alterego Slim Shady can still slag her off on his next album? Only time and lawsuits will tell.
