Cult swamp rockers Beasts Of Bourbon prepare their first album in nine years.
Titled 'Little Animals', the album was recorded and mixed in three days as testament to their raw power. It will be released through Albert Productions via Sony BMG. The band recently signed to Alberts, home of rock legends AC/DC, The Easybeats and Stevie Wright, and current pub rock champs Dallas Crane. The band have just returned from a successful tour of duty at Austin, Texas' music conference South By Southwest. Undercover reported that punk legend Henry Rollins turned up to catch old friend and Beasts singer Tex Perkins at the Aussie BBQ showcase where the band headlined. Other punters included Lord Of The Rings actor Elijah Wood and digital media guru Ted Cohen.
'Little Animals' will be the sixth studio record in their 24 year history. The band went on hiatus in 1997 and returned with the live album 'Low Life' in 2005, playing sporadically since. The first single will be 'I Don't Care About Nothing Anymore' and the band will announce a June Australian tour soon.
