It will also feature British comedian Ricky Gervais (The Office, Extras), who will make his US stand-up debut at the theatre at Madison Square Garden on May 19.Bowie co-founded the festival with David Binder and Josh Wood. Octogenarian poet Ken Nordine will also appear, as well as experimental performance artist Laurie Anderson.
The multi-faceted High Line festival will take place underneath the High Line in west Manhattan, which will see a public park perched atop an abandoned elevated train line.
It takes place from May 9-19.
