What So Not, the hyped Sydney duo comprised of Chris 'Emoh' Emerson and Harley 'Flume' Streten, flex their proverbial muscles on 'The Quack' EP penned for release on June 14th via Sweat It Out locally and OWSLA (yeah, Skrillex's label) o/s. 'The Quack' single - which features NY rapper and XXL Freshaman 2013 Action Bronson, beat-maker Blood Diamonds and introduces D Mac, Queens' youngest rap export of 2013 - will be premiered on Mark Ronson's East Village Radio show in the next weeks. The instrumental version was already featured last week as part of a strategy that sees the pre-release of the EP in 'dub' form on iTunes on the 17th May, so ears to the ground please.
The Quack EP will be the follow-up to What SoNot's debut EP whose title track'7 Dollar Bill'
got a good workout on dance radio and in clubs all over.
Big upsfrom the likes of Switch (Dubsided), Bag Raiders, Sinden, Boys Noize followed,
as did insane, heaving sold-out club shows across the country and tonnes of remixes for The Only, Major Lazer, Kimbra,A-Trak et al.
Due to the phenomenal successof Harley in his Flume guise, Emoh will take on the role of What So Not DJ andwhen the two unite it will be a What So Not live show. As such What So Not (DJ)will be dropping in on dark rooms along the coast this May/June, dates below.
