The US band return to Roskilde Festival - Saturday 29 June to Sunday 7 July 2013
”I saw The National in 2005, and two years later we had them play at Roskilde for the first time. They’re one of those bands who just keep growing, and it’s very exciting to see them transform from an introvert and artsy indie band to being one of the best live bands on the alternative poprock scene. They keep making these new and really strong melancholic songs that keep finding new listeners. Not least here in Denmark”, says booker Marianne Ifversen.
The National arrive with their brand new album, ‘Trouble Will Find Me’, at Roskilde Festival - this will be one of the first opportunities to hear their new songs live. The last time The National played at Roskilde Festival was in a packed Arena tent in 2010 at that time newly released album High Violet.
On Thursday 18 April this year's poster and more than 100 new bands will be revealed. You can check out who is playing here.
A full festival ticket gives access to eight days of experiences and up to 200 music acts. Tickets are sold through Billetlugen.
