One of APRA's finalist and all round good-guy Jordie Lane has signed to Canadian booking agent Paquin Entertainment.
Paquin are home to Tegan and Sara, Josh Ritter, Adam Cohen, Old Crow Medicine Show, and Hayes Carll, as well as heritage acts Bachman & Turner and Buffy Sainte-Marie.
Jordie will start touring Canada in July and August, including a number of significant festivals – the news of which will be revealed soon.
This news comes at just the right time - Jordie has made the final 10 for the APRA Professional Development Awards pop/contemporary category, alongside Matt Corby, Husky, and Thomas Busby. Check more on the finalists here.
Returning to Australia this week to kick off his 'The Movement Tour', taking in seven festivals, a tour with Grammy nominated act Ruthie Foster, and headline shows in Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney, Hobart and Launceston. Saturday's show in Bacchus Marsh has unsurprisingly sold out.
