Joss Stone heads the list of latest artists announced for 18th East Coast Blues and Roots Festival in Byron Bay.
The Brit Award-winning pop-soul singer will play in Byron Bay just a few days before her 20th birthday. Other artists in the third announcement include Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience, British pop-rockers The Magic Numbers, Australian folk legend Kev Carmody, acoustic slide guitarist Dallas Frasca, blues rock duo The Fumes, and psych-folk singer-songwriter Old Man River.The festival also announced a range of local artists performing as part of the Byron Area Artists Showcase, including Kurtis and the Element, The Re-Mains, Sara Tindley and the Kingfishers, Juzzie Smith, Will Conner, Tanzi, Dennis Wilson, and Slim Pickens & Dr Baz.
These artists join the likes of Ben Harper and the Innocent Criminals, John Mayer, Missy Higgins, Wolfmother, Bonnie Raitt, Bo Diddley, Taj Mahal, Lee Scratch Perry, The Roots, Ben Kweller, Sierra Leone's Refugee All Stars, Paul Kelly, Ziggy Marley, Ozomatli, Eric Burdon & the Animals and Jim Moginie for the five day festival over Easter, April 5-9.
