La Bastard was formed at a Six Ft Hick gig after watching an apparently lacklustre support band. They've come a long way since then in order to bring you their second album.
Dedicated fans of the Gun Club, the Cramps, Lee Hazlewood and Nancy Sinatra, Wanda Jackson, the Jesus Lizard and early PJ Harvey and with antics ranging from playing on tabletops and bars to entire crowds storming the stage – La Bastard now deliver their second album “Tales From the Beyond”. Recorded with the fast becoming best producer/ engineer town, the one and only Paul Maybury and mixed by Jesse Booher (Looma), the new album infuses La Bastard’s energetic, reverb-drenched classic sound with a sultry, moody underbelly.
