Brad Delp, the lead singer of Boston who was found dead in his New Hampshire home last week, left a series of suicide notes which led to his body.
It was confirmed by medical examiners that Delp died from carbon monoxide poisoning, after sealing himself in a bathroom with two charcoal grills. The singer left a series of notes across his property, the first of which was found by fianc??e Pamela Sullivan after she discovered a dryer vent tube attached to the exhaust pipe of Delp's car.
A note in the garage read, "To whoever finds this I have hopefully committed suicide. Plan B was to asphyxiate myself in my car."
Once inside, police discovered a note at the top of a staircase, which warned of the presence of carbon monoxide in the house. It also read, "I take complete and sole responsibility for my present situation. I have lost my desire to live." He mentioned Sullivan in this note, writing, "Unfortunately she is totally unaware of what I have done."
Delp was found lying on the floor of his bathroom, a final suicide note connected to his shirt. It read, "Mr. Brad Delp. J'ai une ame solitaire. I am a lonely soul."
Delp was cremated on Wednesday, after a private funeral.
