Brisbane indie rock dudes, "My Fiction" have landed a triple whammy with three of their songs set to feature in just one episode of "Gossip Girl."
The episode will air in the US on November 19 with the tracks "Shanghai Surprise", "Trophy Kids" and "Knives and Bombs" all featured. The songs are from My Fiction's debut album FIREROMANCEFIRE that is out now everywhere through SUGARRUSH.
In another boon for QLD music, the episode will also feature a song from fellow Brisbane artist Tara Simmons.
The band secured film and TV representation in North America last year after their MUSEXPO trip through LA-based Isabel Pappani at Undercover Tracks. Isabel has been responsible for numerous placements for Australian bands in US film and television for the past several years. A self-confessed Australian music addict, she first saw My Fiction at a BIGSOUND showcase in Brisbane.
