Worldwide hit TV teen drama, Gossip Girl will feature a song by Australian band Goodbyemotel, exposing the PLW Entertainment managed act to millions of American and international viewers.
The Goodbyemotel song 'Last Flight Of The Bat', produced by PLW' Entertainment's multi-platinum award winning record producer, Paul Wiltshire (The Backstreet Boys, Vanessa Amorosi, Shannon Noll, Guy Sebastian etc), has been licensed for the the forth season of the hit TV series.Gossip Girl is aired in the United States on The CW television network, a joint venture between CBS Corporation and Warner Brothers. Last season, the show averaged 2.02 million viewers per episode in the USA. In Australia, the show airs on FOX8.
This exposure from the American hit TV show will underpin the marketing strategy and the popularity of Goodbye Motel for the impending worldwide release of the band's debut album.
Gossip Girl will greatly enhance the exposure of Goodbyemotel to fans around the world.
Goodbyemotel formed in early 2005 and after two EPs in the Australian market joined the PLW Entertainment talent roster, alongside Sam Clark, Trinity, Art of Wor and Sarah and the King Bees.
The band recently returned from the US and the UK after showcasing to some of the music industry's most influential professionals.
PLW Entertainment is preparing for the worldwide release of Goodbyemotel's debut album.
