Following the success of three singles and their debut EP God Said It’s Legal, The Demon Parade will release their much anticipated follow up EP, "Chameleon" at Ding Dong on November 2nd.
Mixed by Tony Lash [The Dandy Warhols, Elliot Smith] the Chameleon EP apparently retains the dense psychedelic swirl for which these kids are known, and sees the band opening up a world of prismatic pop hooks and high beam melodies; from the exultant, albeit doe eyed paean to making up on 'Lovers Again' to the stadium hooks of 'Chameleon'. 'Fake Can Dan' showcases a playful pop sensibility, while a cheeky wink is extended to the hangers on in the music scene with the short sharp "She's Gonna Be A Star'. 'Cut My Ties' takes an introspective look at the ups and downs of playing in bands. 'All The Cool Kids' released as a single in 2011 has been generously applauded by many critics with Maggie Collins of JJJ commenting " One of the best build ups in a song I've heard in a long time."
Check them out at the following venues in order to witness their live show which is apparently fast becoming stuff legend.
