Previously unseen footage of The Sex Pistols playing “Holiday In The Sun” live at a gig in Penzance, Cornwall has surfaced after 35 years.
NME has reported that the footage was recorded a month before the album of which the song was the fourth single, "Never Mind The Bollocks" was unleashed on an unsuspecting world.
Director Julian Temple has explained the origins of the video thus,"There was shock in the room, it was hypnotizing, contagious, and unfolded right in front of you. It was filmed in Penzance in September 1977, the Pistols arrived unannounced and the audience couldn't believe what they were getting."
