Last January the grounds of Werribee Park Mansion were transformed into a private estate in Provence with the best of French food, wine and music delighting patrons all day. The only local content was the lazy summer day and the 4000 punters in attendance who loved every minute.
The 2013 festival guestlist brought to you by Cartell Music showcases once again a range of French artists that Austrlian audiences will love.
Melanie Pain is the former singer of Nouvelle Vague and has toured Australia eight times. Here is a fan made video compilation channelling Bridget Bardot for " La Cigarette"
Next on the bill are the indie-pop and 60s inspired harmonies of Revolver, recently
nominated best newcomers at the French Grammys. Here they are performing "Balualow"
Carmen Maria Vega and her band CMV serve up a knockout cocktail of classic chanson and gypsy jazz. Checkout the band playing La Menteuse live.
Completing a day of the best of the best of French music is the French-Aussie Paris-based Nadéah
who will engage you with her unique style of eclectic pop.
