English merchants of glorious rockin' soul "The Heavy" announce the premiere of their new full-length album, ‘The Glorious Dead’, streaming at Billboard Magazine Online right now. The album will be out 24th August on Counter Records through Inertia.
Self-produced and with their unique, raw eclecticism fully intact, 'The Glorious Dead' mixes soul, hip-hop, rock, blues and funk into glorious, raucous music that is jam packed full of heart, soul and generosity.
In addition to the exclusive premiere, The Heavy will be performing "What Makes A Good Man?", the album's first single, on The Late Show With David Letterman on August 30. The band will be making a return appearance after their unforgettable and highly talked about 2010 performance of their hit "How You Like Me Now?"
