Commercial electro rockers Rogue Traders will join Girls Aloud for a UK arena tour.
The dance rock outfit headed by Neighbours star Natalie Bassingthwaighte are on the verge of releasing their 'Way To Go' single in the UK on March 26. This follows up the June 2006 release on 'Voodoo Child' that hit number 3 on the UK charts and 'Watching You' released in October that only scored number 33 there.The Brits will get a taste of the live experience as Rogue Traders jump aboard the Girls Aloud tour through May and into June. The tour covers arenas in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales over fifteen dates from May 14.
The act have been nominated for Best Dance Video at MTV's 2007 Australian Video Music Awards for 'In Love Again' alongside Bob Sinclar, Sneaky Sound System, Bodyrox and more. They won the award last year for the 'Voodoo Child' clip.
Also, James Ash spoke to Melbourne's Herald-Sun newspaper about a new album, saying that they have nineteen songs written, hinted at Manchester and Nine Inch Nails influences and will opt for a strict "no samples" policy.
