As well as fronting for the likes of Rainbow, Black Sabbath/Heaven and Hell, and Elf, singer Ronnie James Dio was also the leader of his own band, Dio.
On on Tuesday, October 9th, a follow-up to the gold certified "The Very Beast of Dio" will be unleashed under the thoughtful title "The Very Beast of Dio Vol. 2"
The 17-track CD picks from 1996 onward. In addition to featuring such latter-day Dio classics
as "Killing the Dragon," "Push," and "Fever Dreams," the compilation also includes several rarities that have been long sort after by fans on a single disc, including "Electra" (which previously was only a part of the super-rare 'Tournado' box set), "Prisoner of Paradise," and "Metal Will Never Die."
