The younger brother of Michael Hutchence has reportedly been disowned by their mother for selling personal items belonging to the INXS frontman on eBay.
Rhett Hutchence, 44, drew the ire of his mother for selling a 17-year-old fax Michael originally sent to former girlfriend Kylie Minogue. "That was one of the worst things because that was private," mother Patricia Glassop said.But Rhett has moved quickly to defend himself, telling a Sydney newspaper, "I assure you all the really important things I'm keeping. I will be passing on a lot of these things to (Michael's daughter) Tiger when she's old enough."
He explained that he is selling the "unimportant" items to facilitate his move to the Netherlands to live with his girlfriend. "Michael wouldn't have minded at all," Rhett continued. "He'd be happy I'm in love and have some direction in my life."
