Fresh from tearing the eastern seaboard a new one (in the most articulate of ways) alongside Damn Terran and Kingswood on This Epic Tour, Melbourne six piece Money For Rope return to the home of Australian rock and roll (that would be Melbourne) to launch their new single "Misery Lane" this July 28 at Ding Dong Lounge.
"Misery Lane" is the second track to be slung atcha from the band’s forthcoming self-titled debut LP and hints at the unlawfully pleasurable dirt and sleaze that lies at the core of the music that comes out of these guys.Dark, driven and offering no apologies `Misery Lane' is a three-minute package of sex and danger. Nice.
The stage at the newly reopened Ding Dong Lounge is set to groan and strain under the rock & roll heavyweight of smashing riffs and sweet rhythms as Money for Rope are joined by The Treatment (SYD), Drunk Mums and The Fifth Friend.
