The Bosstones play a one-off exclusive Australian show on Thursday 5th July at the Metro Theatre in Sydney. This will be their first gig on Australian soil since the 1998 Warped tour and will be the only chance for Australian fans to see The Mighty Mighty Bosstones this year.
To call The Bosstones influential would be an understatement. They are the progenitor of the ska-punk genre and the creators of the sub-genre, ska-core; fusing ska and punk with hardcore. They are also one of the most commercially successful ska bands ever, achieving mainstream success in 1997 with their multi-platinum album, "Let's Face It", which spawned 90's Triple J anthem, "The Impression That I Get".
