Splendour In The Grass have announced sideshows for: Pulp, James Blake, Foster The People, The Kills, The Hives, The Vaccines, Kele and even more.
While many frowns are to be had that Coldplay and Kanye won’t be doing Splendour In The Grass sideshows, there’s more than enough to choose from in the list of those that are.
They’ve announced sideshows for:
Brit-pop icons Pulp, LA synth-pop kids Foster The People with Sydney psych act Guineafowl, minimalism master James Blake, sunny Californians Grouplove and Young The Giant, UK garage pop act The Vaccines, Swedish rock colossus The Hives and cheeky locals The Grates, Hollywood funksters Fitz And The Tantrums, rockers Dananananaykroyd and DZ Deathrays, London folkies Noah And The Whale, Bloc Party frontman Kele with Strange Talk, and Nashville rock revivalist Mona.
Most of the sideshows are for Melbourne and Sydney but some bands head down to Adelaide and across to Perth (Pulp, Foster The People and James Blake with be on WA’s On The Bright Side Festival).
Tickets for all shows go on sale next Friday 27 May through the usual outlets, venues, and at splendoursideshows.com.
