The memorial service this Sunday for Australian rock legend Billy Thorpe will be broadcast live on Sky News.
The concert will take place Sunday, March 4 at 3.45pm.Thorpe died of a heart attack in the early hours of Wednesday. He was 60.
The rock legend was in the public eye in Australia since he was 10 years old. His best know song was the pub rock classic "Most People I Know Think That I'm Crazy".
The Thorpe family has requested that in lieu of flowers or obituary notices, contributions be made to Support Act Limited (SAL). Established in July 1997, SAL is a nationally registered charity whose objective is to provide relief to music industry participants who are in need or suffering hardship or distress.
