Welsh opera superstar-cum-TV presenter Charlotte Church has been knocked up by her rugby playing boyfriend Gavin Henson, she recently announced on her official website.
Oh by the way, she also announced that she is "delighted"."In an ideal world, we would not have made this announcement so early in the pregnancy. However, due to recent speculation and persistent questions from the media about this most private of matters, Charlotte felt she had no choice other than to go public and she was keen to ensure that her fans had the opportunity to read the truth here first." The announcement said.
Various over-zealous media outlets began to speculate on Church's bun-in-the-oven status when she avoided alcohol at her 21st birthday last month.
The singer released her first album, 'Voice Of An Angel' in 1998, when she was just 12 years old. It went on to sell over 600,000 copies in the U.K. alone, making her one of the most successful classical performers in recent history.
She now hosts The Charlotte Church Show, which began last year. The show features guests, performances and comedy sketches.
