Kellie Lloyd, the well known bass player from Brisbanes Screamfeeder is touring to promote her new solo record Magnetic North.
Rave Magazine has described the album as "a rather gorgeous neo-lo-fi outing indeed". Kellie's solo work features alternate guitar tunings, melodic piano,dreamy vocals and songs inspired by PJ Harvey, Explosions in the Sky,Swerevdriver, Beachhouse, Kurt Vile and Mazzy Star.
Kellie will take the album out on the road for launch shows across the country. Fans can expect a stripped-back dynamic wall of sound experience, with Kellie (on electric guitar) joined by Branko Cosic of Tape/Off on drums.
