To celebrate the success of its sixth annual street rock n roll festival CherryRock012, the Cherry Bar in collaboration with photographer Jay Hynes is returning to AC/DC Lane with a street poster photography installation down the length of the iconic Lane capturing the energy of the artists who performed on the day.
Photographer Jay Hynes says "This photographic idea was to present the character of each of the Cherry Rock acts immediately after they'd given their all for the crowd. With barely enough time to grab a beer or their breath, they were shot against simple white background so only the post show moment, mood and
personality are evident. It's the artists in a raw, real moment that we don't always see."
The photography will be presented in street poster form and pasted all over AC/DC Lane appearing for just 9 days from Saturday 19 May to Sunday 27 May. Cherry co-owner James Young says, "We're a little festival that sold-out this year and can't really grow any bigger because of the limitations of our location. So
we're trying to grow our Festival vertically by stretching its content across more than one event day. This unique photography installation is a way for us to get more and give more from our annual live rock n roll event." Don't miss the opportunity to see this one off display in AC/DC lane.
