Since the release of last year's debut EP Willoughby's Beach, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard have been pretty busy and have well and truly gained a reputation as one of the country’s most exciting live acts.
This year the band team up once again with the dapper and ever enlightened Melbourne music producer Paul Maybury to commence work on their debut album. The full release won't hit the streets for a little while yet, even so, some awesome stuff has bubbled to the surface in their recent sessions as a solid 7 member collaboration. ‘Bloody Ripper’ and its b-side ‘Sam Cherry's Last Shot’, narrated by The Dingoes singer, Broderick Smith is the first sneak peak of the exciting sounds to come.
