Clairy Browne and the Bangin Racketts are perhaps one of the greatest soul, jump blues, doo-wop, ska and gospel groups to grace a stage with their rabble rousing, leopard print goodtimes.
The band are getting ready to hit the road with an Australian tour to celebrate the launch of the 'Love Letter' video and limited edition 7" vinyl.
The new video was filmed in the Old Geelong Gaol, which was transformed into "dance gaol"
for a day where the band's sentence was made up of non-stop hair flicks and intensive tambourine weight training. The synopsis of "Prince goes to prison" was bought to life by a large cast of vampy inmates
surrounding the delivery of a highly confidential, explicit letter of love. Written by Hannah Fox and directed by Lester Francois.
In classic style, Clairy Brown and The Bangin Rackettes will be kicking off the tour with a raucous club show at the Prince Bandroom in Melbourne consisting of multiple stages, their in-house marching band, a special performance from exotica songstress Stella Angelico, soul kings the Putbacks, DJ's and the cast of the video busting out a spontaneous dance spectacular. Who could want more?
