Mark Lizotte, aka Diesel, celebrates 25 years in the business with a new album and a national tour.
It has been a quarter of a century since the brooding singer assembled his first band, Johnny Diesel & The Injectors, and burst onto the Australian music scene with a top three debut album.
Long known as Diesel, he has continued with hits of his own and over 800,000 album sales and is about to celebrate his long, storied career with an extensive tour and a brand new album.
The album, titled Under The Influence, features fresh interpretations over fifteen tracks that have already been appreciated by those who saw him on the recent Joe Cocker and George Thorogood tour.
Under The Influence will be released on July 1 through Liberation, then he tours the nation from July until November.
