After their Coachella reformation, Rage Against The Machine plan shows with Wu-Tang Clan.
Rage Against The Machine are a huge drawcard at Coachella and despite suggestions that it was to be a one-off reunion show (tied in with the break-up of Audioslave no less), the LA Times have announced that they'll be part of acclaimed hip hop festival Rock The Bells alongside Wu-Tang Clan.Making it clear that this is no hint of a full reunion, Rock The Bells organiser Chang Weisberg firmly stated, "Rage will do four shows and just four in 2007. Coachella is first, that's the granddaddy. And now these three with the Wu-Tang Clan represent a very, very special thing."
Tom Morello has stated that the RATM reunion was driven in part by the current political situation in the US, suggested to MTV, "Is it coincidence that in the seven years that Rage Against the Machine has been away that the country has slid into right-wing purgatory? I think not."
New York hosts Rock The Bells on July 28, it hits San Bernadino on August 11 and winds up in San Francisco on August 18.
