There is something about Replacements fans. They are obsessed and diehard and will stick to their guns in any debate as to who is the greatest white trash rock n roll band of all time. This is for you my friends.
On March 29 2012 for one night only ya'll going to be treated to A Night Out With The Replacements. Premiering for the first time in Australia will be " Color Me Obsessed" the brand new yet-to-be-released documentary on The Replacements, directed by American filmmaker Gorman Bechard. Hailed by Rolling Stone as "one of the seven best new music documentaries of the year", this unique film is a special opportunity for fans to view the "potentially true story of the last best band".
I've got goose bumps and butterflies already!
To add to the joy of the occasion you will be treated to some of Australias best; Tim Rogers, Nick Barker, Davey Lane, Chuck Jenkins, Van Walker and Suzannah Espie with more to be announced playing their favourite Replacements tunes. All star band Garry and the Boners will kick off at 9.30 pm after the screening of " Color Me Obsessed" at 7pm.
Whatever plans you might've made for Thursday March 29, bloody well cancel them because A Night Out with The Replacements happens for absolutely one night only at Brunswick's Phoenix Public House.
