George Harrisons son Dhani has released an App that will allow guitar freaks and George Harrison fans to get up close and personal with George's collection of guitars.
Well, as up close and personal as you can get with an app...Simply named The Guitar Collection- George Harrison, users will have the opportunity to view the guitar collection from 360 degrees. Each guitar from the collection will be accompanied by historical notations of modifications and audio featuring George Harrison talking about each guitar. But wait there is more, the app also features snippet of every Beatles or solo track on which George played each guitar.
Dhani Harrison has told the New York Times that he is currently investigating the creation of similar apps for Eric Clapton, Pete Townshend, Angus Young and Jimi Hendrix. The current George Harrison app comes in at around ten dollars. for more info check out http://www.georgeharrison.com/
