Groovin’ the Moo (GTM) regrets to announce Chiddy Bang will no longer be part of the GTM 2012 National tour. Unfortunately they have chosen to cancel their Australian commitments preferring to focus on new TV and radio promotional opportunities for their upcoming album in the USA.
Oh well, they are not Robinson Crusoe in that respect. International touring artists are dropping (out) like flies at the moment. On the bright side the masters of indie pop melody and JJJ Unearthed winners Ball Park Music will join the lineup instead. Excellent.
GTM promoter Stephen Halpin commented on the circumstances today, "To replace an act on the festival at this late stage is very difficult, so we are extremely grateful to have an act of the calibre of Ball Park Music join the tour at such short notice. Yes it's annoying that Chiddy Bang have chosen to cancel but Ball Park Music are a fantastic live act and deserve all their current success."
Ball Park Music have saved the day.....
