Bruce Springsteen has announced on his website that Clarence Clemons will be replaced by his nephew Jake Clemons. Jake is no stranger to big gigs having played at Bill Clinton's first inauguration in 1992.
Sharing the sax role with Jake Clemons will be Ed Manion, a Bruce stalwart who played on the Seeger Sessions and previously toured with the E Street Band, he is also an original member of Southside Johnny and the Asbury Dukes horn section " The Miami Horns".
The announcement of on the Boss's website included additonal muscians, singers Cindy Mizelle and Curtis King, trombonist Clark Gayton and trumpeter Curt Ramm, all of whom have toured with Bruce Springsteen in the past, along with newcomer Barry Danielian on trumpet.
Now that Bruce has sorted the sax, all that is left for him to do is announce the " Wrecking Ball Tour" dates for the rest of the world, including Australia.
