Bill Ward, Black Sabbaths original drummer has temporarily pulled out of reunion album and tour due to contractual issues.
Apparently the move is not to do with money but respect. In an open letter to fans Ward stated that he could not proceed without a " signable contract". It appears that he is not happy with the current version as it does not reflect the dignity and respect he should be afforded as an original member of the band. Black Sabbath were due to release their reunion album produced by Rick Rubin sometime in the Northern autumn. Looks like the combination of Iommi's ill health and Ward's refusal to sign the current contract might put the release date back. We'll keep you posted.
