So much for Bill Wards' attempt to stick a spanner in the works for the Black Sabbath reunion tour. The rest of the band have announced that they will go on without him.
Ward made news last week in a statement to fans advising that the Black Sabbath reunion would not go ahead unless he was presented with a contract that reflected his contribution to the band. It was about respect, or perhaps lack thereof in the current agreement which Ward believed did not give him a fair slice of the Black Sabbath financial pie.
The other memebrs of Black Sabbath Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne and Geezer Butler responded with the following commentary " "We were saddened to hear yesterday via Facebook that Bill declined publicly to participate in our current Black Sabbath plans," said the trio. "We have no choice but to continue recording without him although our door is always open... We are still in the U.K. with Tony. Writing and recording the new album and on a roll... See you at Download!!!"
I want everybody to clap!
