There will be ribbon cutting, lemonade and thats not all. How's about some ukulele playing by the Dresden Dolls?
If I lived in Hobart or its metropolitan outskirts, this is where I would be at 1.30 pm tomorrow afternoon, and probably every Saturday arvo until April.
MoMa runs on Saturdays through the hot (cold, windy, overcast, stinking hot) summer months. It stands for Mona Market, and for a compulsive relationship with acronyms. It's exactly like the MoMa in New York. Exactly. Except it's a market, so there's fresh groceries, yummy food to eat on site, workshops (strictly non-boring), live music, and lots of laying around on the lawn. MoMa loves laziness – it doesn't start until 1.30pm. Bring your children and/or hangover; both will be well catered for at MoMa MINORS. It stands for something......
MoMa is on the Mona rooftop Every Saturday 1.30-6.30pm
Jan 21- April 14
