Today Bluesfest, reveals the first of four lineup announcements for Easter 2013 (March 28 – April 1). The news is all good !
Six weeks ahead of usual, the first artist lineup announcement is a ripper. Any Festival in the world announcing Ben Harper , Santana, Iggy & The Stooges (on their final tour), Chris Isaak, Wilco, Bonnie Raitt, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi, Glen Hansard with the Frames, Frank Turner and the Sleeping Souls, Playing for Change and much more would be ecstatically happy with their choices for the people.
Festival Director Peter Noble agrees " “This is our Year” he says. “We are delivering one of our absolute best artist line-ups ever, and the first announcement is only the beginning.
The 24th Bluesfest will take place between Thursday 28th of March and Monday 1st of April 2013 at Bluesfest’s permanent home at Tyagarah Tea Tree Farm just outside of Byron Bay. Tickets are on sale now through www.bluesfest.com.au or by phoning the Bluesfest office on 02 6685 8310
