Ken West has forged ahead with the loss business partner Vivian Lees in a genuinely amazing tactic that will see The Big Day Out expand with opportunities for both international and local Australian acts in the Northern and Southern hemispheres in a partnership with C3 Presents.
The original and best Australian festival will prosper in an ever competitive summer festival environment having the support and partnership of C3.
Both parties are happy with the deal as per commentary from C3 Presents Partner, Charlie Walker,“C3 is thrilled to be entering this creative partnership with Big Day Out and are honored to become a part of the outstanding 20 year legacy that the festival has created.”
Interestingly both parties share a similiar history and style in that they were both launched in 1991 featuring "alternative" line ups. For the last 20 years both have grown to exist amongst the most long standing and successful events in the world. Sounds like a partnership made in heaven. Go Ken, Go Ken.
