Forty years in the music business, countless successes both as a frontman and solo performer (not to mention the most dapper man in music with perhaps the next sexiest voice after David Bowie) have rewarded Bryan Ferry with the prestigious award "Commander of the Order of the British Empire."
In a ceremony at Buckingham Palace, Ferry was awarded the CBE by HRM Queen Elizabeth II in recognition of his impressively large contribution to music in the last forty years.
Ferry was accompanied by his sons Isaac, Tara, Merlin and Otis and modestly stated to the waiting media. "Getting something like this is actually very humbling and I was very pleased to be recognised for, I guess, a long career and doing something I love doing."
