Australian bands will be setting off to conquer the world with their fierce rock 'n' roll, ridiculous poetry or indie cool next month and the Australian Music Collective can show you exactly where to see them.
The AMC have been organising the Aussie BBQ at Austin's famed South by Southwest for the past few years, attracting industry types to their homeland's heroes (well, maybe more the underdogs, but you get the point).Recently there have also been showcases in Los Angeles and New York, and this year for the first time the showcase will head to London, U.K.
The showcases show off a mix of young and old talent spanning the past 30 years.
In Los Angeles at the Troubador on March 11 you can see Beasts of Bourbon, Dallas Crane, Children Collide, The Panda Band and I Heart Hiroshima.
At Brush Square Park in Austin on March 16, you can see Andrew Winton, I Heart Hiroshima, The Panda Band, Dallas Crane, Children Collide, Expatriate, The Hoodoo Gurus, You Am I, Airbourne, Wolf and Cub, Spod and Beasts of Bourbon.
In New York City at the showcases are split over two nights, on March 20, see Dappled Cities Fly, Spod, Children Collide and The Panda Band at Fontanas and on March 21, see Woman, Beasts of Bourbon, Dallas Crane and Ground Components at Crash Mansion.
