After already having been announced as part of The Melbourne Festival, Austin’s Okkervil River have now confirmed tour dates around the whole country.
Last time they were here, the band left audiences elated and if their new record, ‘I Am Very Far‘ is anything to go by, this won’t be a show you’ll want to miss either. Whether they’re working on their own, or with someone else (such as their acclaimed album with fellow Austinite Roky Erickson, ‘Goodbye Sweet Dreams’), these six people in a room is a sure fire way to generate incredible melodies and beautiful songs.
But you don’t need me to waffle on about them forever, right? Just get your arse to one of the following shows:
