Funky Melbourne garage rock outfit Offcutts finally release their debut album 'What Happened Don't Lie'.
The album is long overdue for the trio who have released a steady stream of irresistibly funky garage rock ditties over the last three years. Although 2004's 'Thrift Shop Boutique' was album length, it was a compilation of their catchiest efforts including 'Break It (Down James Brown)'.During 2005 they released four EPs as part of their 'Singles Society' collection but on February 19 2007 Offcutts will finally launch the ten-track 'What Happened Don't Lie' album (including a cover of Pat Benetar's 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot').
The raucous rockers will also be showcasing their explosive hip-shakin' tunes during a national tour through March after playing the Hunter Valley's Gum Ball and a Nuclear Free Benefit at Melbourne's East Brunswick Club on February 18.
