Morrissey has cancelled a gig in Sweden hours before he was due to hit the stage “for reasons of public and artiste* safety”.
The show was due to take place last night (July 14) at Sundspärlan in Helsingborg, Sweden, but was cancelled. A posting on his fansite True-To-You.net reads: “Due to severe weather conditions the open air concert at Helsingborg (July 14th) is unable to take place for reasons of public and artiste safety.”
“We have not found any good reason [for the cancellation],” Kristian Kornhag of the Culture Company told Swedish news site hd.se.**
Earlier this week the singer was attacked by a dog in England. His finger was revealed to be fractured after a later X-Ray performed when he made it to Sweden.
