The White Stripes are set to sign with a major label for the first time, according to Billboard.com.
The band are said to be "close to inking a long-term, multi-million dollar deal with Warner Bros."The duo were dropped by indie label V2 last month. They, along with Moby and The Crystal Method, fell victim to a massive operational restructure at the company.
