This was the big song for Jesus Jones. ‘Right Here, Right Now’ featured on the band’s 1991 album ‘Doubt’. The song is about the end of the Cold War.
Despite being 20 years old ‘Right Here, Right Now’ is often heard in TV shows and in television commercials. K-Mart used it as a jingle in 2006. Ford used it in 2010. A cover of ‘Right Here Right Now’ by New Zealand band The Feelers was used to promote the 2011 Rugby World Cup tournament in New Zealand.
The song was written by singer Mike Edwards. It reached number 2 on the American Billboard chart and was a Top 40 hit in Australia.
